I’m not sure how I feel about the dual-lens camera on the iPhone 7 Plus yet. It tries to be clever and use digital zoom instead of optical zoom if it thinks the lighting conditions would result in a worse photo (e.g. blurry and/or noisy) if taken with the “telephoto” lens, but in my experience it rarely ends up using the optical zoom, except in bright sunlight. I wish the iOS camera app let me have manual control over which lens it uses.
